As an experienced brand strategist who has had the privilege of working with renowned companies like Coca-Cola, Shell, AIA, Shangri-La, Pepsico, SONY, BMW, and many more, I have always believed that expertise should be accessible to all. After receiving feedback from my clients who recognized the value my approach could bring to other businesses, I felt compelled to share my knowledge with small to medium-sized enterprises and solopreneurs. This led me to write a book called "Dim Sum Strategy," which introduced our trademarked Brand Centered Management™ 4Ds process. But I wanted to go further, to reach a wider audience and provide affordable guidance. That's when the idea of creating the Lighthouse Brand Strategy course was born.

Democratizing Brand Strategy

The motivation behind the Lighthouse Brand Strategy course is to democratize brand strategy expertise. I firmly believe that every business, regardless of size or resources, deserves the opportunity to develop its professional Brand DNA. While I had discussed the idea of expanding our reach with my co-founding colleagues at The Brand Company in Hong Kong two decades ago, the digital tools necessary to make this vision a reality were not available at the time. However, with the advancements in technology, the right time to make this course accessible has finally arrived.

The Personal Drive

There is a personal drive behind the creation of this course as well. As a brand strategy consultant, I genuinely enjoy working with a diverse range of clients. However, there is a limit to the number of clients I can manage in a year while providing them with the attention they deserve. I have always yearned to help many more businesses, and creating the Lighthouse Brand Strategy course is the most effective way to achieve this goal. As I move into the later stages of my career, efficiency and the desire to transition away from the traditional "paid by the hour, eat what you kill" consulting model have become paramount. By generating a steady passive income through this course, I can continue to support businesses and share my expertise with those who can benefit from it.
